When attempting to connect Megalytic to a Facebook account, you may receive the error message:
“We did not get an authorization from Facebook”
This happens when the Facebook account does not have an associated email address. A Facebook account needs to have an email account associated with it in order for Megalytic to make the connection. Because Facebook allows accounts to be created without an email address, not all accounts have email addresses. But trying to connect such accounts to Megalytic causes this error.
In the long term, we plan to upgrade Megalytic to handle Facebook accounts without email addresses.
For now, as a work-around, please add an email address to your Facebook account and then you should be able to connect with Megalytic.
